12th January is celebrated as National Youth Day in India to honour the teachings and beliefs of Swami Vivekananda. Vivekananda was a huge advocate for education and youth empowerment for building the nation's foundation.

CRY UK projects in Jharkhand and Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh works work to ensure that children across 50+ villages are able to get access to quality education and to build agency – the conviction that their views and voices are important.

We at CRY UK believe that youth are the foundation of a country. Our projects work with 120+ adolescent groups that cater to thousands of children. Our objective is to ensure the continuation of school education through online and offline support in collaboration with school authorities and to enhance digital awareness and skills among children and parents. Our work strives to promote the importance of education amongst parents and communities, improve the quality of education through child-friendly teaching techniques, and encourage parental involvement in children's schooling.
