For children, education becomes the most essential key to a brighter future. It equips them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate life. Through education, children discover their passions, develop critical thinking abilities, and learn to express themselves effectively.

Moreover, education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. It opens doors to better job prospects, better incomes, and improved quality of life. Additionally, it positively influences other critical areas such as health and nutrition, particularly for girls, who gain the ability to make informed choices about their futures. By fostering education, we give children the chance to dream big and provide them with the means to turn those dreams into reality.

As citizens, we have a collective responsibility to ensure that every child has the right access to education. Here’s how CRY UK is ensuring this.

• By conducting awareness drives on the importance of education for communities and parents by involving primary village stakeholders and role models.
• Creating awareness about the ill effects of dropping out of school, child marriage, labour, and trafficking
• By tracking, identifying children who dropped out and providing information about the open school system to help them continue their education.
• Organizing re-enrollment drives regularly, especially for girls who are more vulnerable to dropping out.
• Setting up children’s collectives to build the agency of children to promote their well-being and give them the confidence to pursue their aspirations
• Conducting support classes using interactive audio-visual platforms to bridge the learning gap and protect children from dropping out of school
• Setting up STEM centres and digital centres to give children a chance to be ready for 21st-century skills and jobs.
